Policies

Please be sure to let your credit card company or bank know that you will be traveling and may have multiple transactions from Hominy Ridge from multiple terminals. If we can not process your credit card for rent or security deposit hold, you will not be permitted to enter your cabin.

No refunds under any circumstances, including early departures or weather related power outages and acts of GOD. If there is a problem and we can resolve it by offering to move you or to use other facilities and you refuse, then there will be no refund. 

At the time of arrival, there will be a $250 damage deposit hold placed on your credit card. This will only be a “hold” on your card, not an actual charge BUT the money MUST be available on the card. When you leave and after we clean, if we find no incidents to cause a loss, the “hold” on your card will be removed by your bank within 5-10 business days according to your banks policies. If there is an incident to cause a loss, we will determine what the actual cost (plus labor) would be and the card will be charged accordingly. The loss can be $1 to $250.

Firewood Warning

Day Guests
If having daytime guests, there is a $5.00 charge per person. Day guests are limited to 3 hours of visiting time before an additional fee is charged. Please inform us of how many day guests there will be and pay the fee. Day Guests must leave by 8 pm and are not permitted to bring pets. (up to $250 Charge).

Smoking
NO SMOKING IN ALL UNITS. Butts must be properly disposed of, not in the woods or on the ground. Excess Clean-up Charges will apply. (up to $250 Charge).

NO PETS PERMITTED. PERIOD.                                                                            

Anyone caught sneaking in a pet will be ejected and lose their $250 deposit. Pet owners please be sure that you are NOT bringing excessive shedding from your pets with you even though they are left at home. Even transferred pet hair can cause an allergic reaction to someone with allergies and you are responsible for the excessive cleanup. (up to $250 Charge).

No-show Policy
Anyone making a reservation and does not show up for the reservation will be subject to 1/2 the quoted rent. Your credit card on file will be charged the full amount less any deposit already paid.

Cancellation Policy
Reservations made within 7 days of arrival must cancel within 1 hour of making the reservation to avoid charges.

After 24 hours of making the reservation…(Reservations made today must be cancelled by the next day) deposits are NON-refundable under any and all circumstances due to the volume of other customers being turned away. You will be subject to 1/2 of the quoted rent and your credit card on file will be charged the full amount less any deposits already paid.
